Fifteen years after his death a carousel barker is granted permission to return to earth for one day to make amends with his widow and daughter.
Hot on the heels of "Oklahoma" from the powerhouse team that revolutionised the American musical, Rogers and Hammerstein this was actually their favourite of all the works. Filmed on location in Maine, it features two stunning dance/ballet sequences, plus those beautiful musical numbers delivered by the very apt and talented cast. Carousel will be presented in the ultra-wide original CinemaScope 55 screen ratio plus the stunning period 4 track sound!
