DESCRIPTION:<p>FOR OUR HERO &#8220\;This album is about the good\, the bad
and finding a moment of clarity\, energy or euphoria in either&#8221\; say
s For Our Hero front man Jay Taplin. For Our Hero have unveiled their high
ly anticipated first full-length record ‘STRANGE DAYS’\, which rocketed to
#2 on the iTunes rock charts to earn a #3 spot on Australia&#8217\;s Inde
pendent AIR Charts. After receiving national airplay on stations including
the 2day Network &amp\; Triple M\, and having already toured with well kn
own national and international artists such as Short Stack\, Amy Meredith
and 3OH!3 to name a few\, For Our Hero have returned onto the scene and ar
e ready to embark on their national headline tour in support of their full
length release. “I listened to the new For Our Hero album about 3 times t
hrough now\, and can honestly say\, I’m so proud of those boys. (It’s a) W
hole new level.” Shaun Diviney of Short Stack tweeted after he was sent an
early copy of the album. &#8220\;For me\, working with For Our Hero was a
lmost boring &#8211\; all I had to do was press record and take the credit
. The songs these guys write speak for themselves. It&#8217\;s refreshing
to work with a modern pop band pushing lyrical boundaries in an almost Sha
kespearian way. You won&#8217\;t find clichés here &#8211\; you&#8217\;ll
be taken on a journey&#8221\; – Michael Paynter\, gold record certified ar
tist and producer of the band’s latest single Like Clockwork. The songs on
STRANGE DAYS were produced by a line up of big and exciting talent includ
ing gold record producer Paul Leavitt from Baltimore-USA (All Time Low\, T
he Dangerous Summer\, Versa Emerge)\, respected artist Michael Paynter &am
p\; colleague Michael Delorenzis\, and finally long time friend and collab
orator Daniel Kelaart at Grafete Studios. &#8220\;I actually really like i
 t. It&#8217\;s like super different\, it’s got that edge&#8221\; says Soph
ie Monk while co-hosting the Hot-30 countdown &#8220\;I didn&#8217\;t real
ly believe it was from Australia&#8221\;. Prior to supporting Yellowcard t
his September\, the band is hitting Australia&#8217\;s capital cities this
July. Things are about to get a little stranger. Saturday 21 July Venue:
 Old Museum\, Brisbane – All Ages</p>
